I am having problem with my VJ-1617H. Cyan drops out after printing couple 4x8 sheets. I have to do litlle charge and than is fine for next couple sheets. I was looking at service manual and cyan has lines from 2 cartridges going into the different dampers. Its not going into 1 damper both...

Anynody can help me? I just got VG540 in great shape. Its curently setup runing 7 colors. I would like to change to double CMYK. Does anybody knows proper procedure for this. In owners manual it says something about adjusting the ink tube but there is no instruction how to do this conversion.

Are you talking about regular cartridge? I know those have plastic piece that comes out. Mine has ink bag pouches that goes upside down. There is no any plastic piece that comes out. I can make photo tomorow, it would be better

Thanks, I was able to use dx4 head cap top to pull a little ink from both magenta channels. I have sent motherboard and carriage board to Brooks Circuit Specialists. lets see what happens...

I had error E085 after about 10 minutes of printing . Every time I tried again I will get same error at about same percentage of print. It means abnormal condition of head driver. Error suggested it could be cables, head or main board. After I have reinserted cables I would either get error...
