  6. Roland VS-640: Nozzles not working/Air bubbles on ink tubes?

We had air in our lines on a VS-640 a few weeks ago, supposedly the only way to get it out is to use dummy cartridges to completely drain all the ink and then filling it up like you would do to a new machine. Make sure you have extra ink carts on hand, it takes quite a bit of ink and we very...

  9. VS-640 not finishing cuts on letters and missing side when "Cut Image Boundaries" set

My .eps margin is set to .35, don't think that's the issue. So wait, I need a 60 degree blade to cut laminated vinyl? Is that just in general or just for lettering? Cause I've cut plenty of other laminated stuff on here before and it was all fine, just no lettering up until now.

  13. What are those for ?

If it were an older machine you'd be right, but the VS series will actually detect them, beep, and display a message to remove them. Once they're removed and you close the front cover it sheet cuts as usual. Do it all the time. They also don't come with short media clamps, just the long ones...
  14. vs640

We've got one with the dual CMYK setup, had it about 2 years now. Still runs great, and haven't had to replace anything yet, although we did have to get the inkwell retrofitted because there was an issue with carts leaking if they weren't inserted perfectly straight. Make sure you get the...

Just pick up a wallpaper steamer from Lowe's or Home Depot, there's a few members here who say they work great for this kinda stuff.
