I'm thinking it has to be the encoder strip or reader. Whenever we run let's say an 8 ft banner it starts off centered then by the end there is barely enough for a hem. It also is having a hard time printing crisp lines and shifts sometimes.
I replaced the encoder strip maybe 5 months ago with...
We are needing more finishing options outside of a panel saw. We are torn between a Router and I don't even know what you'd call this...flatbed cutter? Personally I'd think the router would be more useful day to day, but I don't know anything about flatbed cutters. We mostly do coro acm pvc the...
About an inch and a half into the material there is a lighter colored line. I changed materials restarted etc. still persists. Any ideas?
Roland Versa-Art RS-640
So we've just starting noticing that on a 4 foot print it comes out a half inch short. On eight feet its 3/4 inch. Normally not to big of an issue except when doing perfect fitting signs. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Edit: Left right is exact. Its something in the feed I'm guessing
It started maybe 2 months ago and its pretty much been constant. I'm only 33 but have been working signs and banners for 15 years full time. I'm a pretty strong guy ~210 pounds. I feel like between pulling off transfer tape, squeegeeing, lifting acm and other boards, and loading full...
I have a 1224 and noticed my pump request/count for one black set is like 700 when the other inks including the other black set are around 30-40..performance is down in that pair too. What should I check? THANKS!
Also did an ink clean out and swap out about 6 months ago with new filters...
Wagner 0282018, 705 Steamer 1-Gallon Wallpaper Steamer - Carpet Steam Cleaners - Amazon.com
Its a Wallpaper steamer. They are also sold at big hardware stores.
Backstory: We had two trucks to remove a swoosh and replace because they were "wrapped" with either cheap or very old vinyl. On the...
This just started happening. Say I send something to cut with weed lines..the design cuts fine, all the weed lines cut fine, except the final one closest to the origin side. You can see the blade actually push down on that last bit and it slices through the backing paper. Anyone else having...
We're talking like super sparkles, seizure inducing stuff that cheerleaders and dance teams dream about. Got some from Sign Warehouse but it was falling apart with glitter everywhere...I'm thinking fellers?
As I buy roll after roll of 54 inch and then have to put it on the table to cut it down for hemming a 4 foot banner...I wonder why?
Don't have to trim my 38 inch roll for a 3 foot banner...why 54? Anyone cut down their 54 inch, and if so how hard is it?
So like a good American I had Funyuns for breakfast, and since we mostly do our 4x8s on the flatbed I didn't think about my grease. Went to pop a few air bubbles on an eco sol print and now its grease everywhere.
Is there a way to remove it without removing the ink?
Right now I am using
"Freud D0860S Diablo 8-1/2-Inch 60 Tooth Fine Finishing Miter Saw Blade with 5/8-Inch Arbor"
Since I could not find an 8 inch blade that my saw calls for I'm using an 8.5''(probably dangerous). Its not the best (kind of chews up or melts coro when it starts to get dull)...
I've supposedly only got 2 days left to print before the printer bricks itself.
Called AGFA they claim they will get back to me "in a few days." Kind of getting itchy with worry.
Can someone post their activation codes? I Hope it isn't tied to the dongle.
Thanks!
Sorry this is probably plotter 101 stuff but what is causing my contour cuts to be off by 1/16 or less. I've been getting by with either fattening the letters or cutting slightly inside of them but this is ridiculous.
What command or keyword should I search for?
Edit: Its a graphtec fc-8000
Looked at the Island air units at SGIA last week they sounded great but were very pricey. I looked over previous posts and there seems to be few other options in that category.
We run Eco-sol and UV inks in a fairly small room. Maybe venting would work with fresh air coming in, but it seems...
Well I hope none of you have been poisoning school children and sick people.
Available in both 220cc and 500cc cartridges, the new ink is said to deliver faster drying times, larger capacity cartridges, a lower price per cc of ink and an overall performance upgrade. The range has also...
