How about the kala mistral laminators? Relatively new I think but they look extremely handy. If I had to buy another it'd be that guy or an AGL even though I love my seal.
If we're thinking of the same material the stuff I remember was made by Convex called Pro-Patch. Just checked Graphic Marking Systems site and can't seem to find it. Basically you reverse printed it and then laminated it white if I remember correctly...does that ring a bell?
Switched from a Roland print/cut to our HP and haven't ever thought of looking back. Technology is nice, speed is considerable and overall quality of the print still blows me away.
I'm with Jayhawk here though, I would spend the $2k or 3k extra and get the Summa. No experience with Graphtec's...
We have the exact same issue. We can clean and get the message to go away then by the afternoon its right back again. Tech felt like the tolerance on the motor that caused it to throw that error are too low.
Now I'm like you and I clean the rails with the machine off but the phone support tech...
Get ahold of BigFish (Josh). He has some awesome products and his window perf is no exception and at the briteline price or better. Works great in the L25500.
Any suggestions on the attached yellow numbers? I've had multiple requests for a similar font and I come up empty handed, close but not there yet. Thanks in advance!
I love seeing a big blank white van...think of all the options you have to dress it up! I lean towards the option of a wrap but only because in my area I'd blend in with all the electricians, plumbers, etc with simple lettering and a nice classy wrap gives us that much more of an edge & chance...
If you don't want to source it to someone with a wide enough printer I'd suggest ordering a roll of the WrapCut (there's a banner in the upper right for me right now but they're a MM). Print your pieces with 1" - 2" overlap whatever you're comfortable with having extra on the first try doesn't...
We have the L25500 and LOVE it. It has it's quirks like all machines but HP tech support is very helpful when needed. If I had to choose any machine besides the HP latex I'd follow suit with Gino and lean towards a Roland.
