  1. New L25500 firmware

We had the intensive PH cleanings enabled on the previous firmware...biggest glitch was we had to disable sleep mode as it wouldn't ever re-initialize once it went to sleep so we'd have to kill the power and boot up again. The new firmware allows the intensive PH cleanings to be enabled along...
  2. Vehicle wrap start up inventory and products?

Definitely with SightLine here...get the Summa S160T. Great machine & paired with our L25500 we're very happy. Get ahold of BigFish here as well he was some awesome deals on banner material that run great with the Latex. Laminator wise we run a Seal and we're satisfied but if I had it to do...
  3. Onyx Cutter Marks

Alright I have a bit of a puzzler this afternoon. We've been printing out of Caldera for all of our print & cut decals lately but for this specific job I have to print out of Onyx as it's a repeat job that needs to match fairly closely. When we print out of Caldera it puts marks for our Summa...
  4. Latex Printable Chrome?

Hi Everyone! Does anyone know of a latex printable chrome? I ordered the VinylEfx from R-Tape through Fellers because in the '12 catalog it listed latex as one of the printing methods. I've had no luck on the test prints I've tried, I did finally get a few samples off but the chrome had turned...
  5. Printing KOMA Banner on Latex

Thanks Tim! I'll get ahold of Josh, I already owe him a million one more won't hurt right?!
  6. Printing KOMA Banner on Latex

Good Morning folks! I wanted to see if I could pick fellow L25500 users brains. We are printing on the Koma blockout material from fellers and I'm having some issues. Now I searched and it seems many people are having good luck with this material but I couldn't find anyone specifically on the...
  7. Caldera Visual Cut

Thanks for the morning bump Suz! I'm like you I like the way Caldera works, it seems to fit into my workflow very nicely and works well with our latex. Good info you posted about the AMD processor I would have never known that. To run Onyx I bought a nice PC but I've designed on our Imac...
  8. Another Nightmare Latex Printer

Rick thank you for the heads up on the ink cart. We've been through a couple cartridges already and the issue remained but maybe wasn't happening as often. Thanks again I'll do some swapping and see if it returns any different results. Few things I forgot to mention from the get-go. We have the...
  9. Another Nightmare Latex Printer

We've thought about the humidifier idea before but always passed by it, thanks for the suggestion I think I will add Mr. Humidifier to the payroll. Glad you mentioned the 3M, we're actually using supercast with 1360 overlam and there isn't a bit of color change after lamination. Under...
  10. Another Nightmare Latex Printer

After reading the other thread with some of Prowraps & jkdbjj had with prints not being completely dry I crossed my fingers and hoped my HP wasn't listening. Luckily it wasn't bit of attention to the drying issue instead it's "drying" out my LM/LC head. By the way we're running out of Onxy 10 on...
  11. Caldera Visual Cut

Hi Suz! We were using Onyx 10 before the Caldera trial. As I'm sure you've discovered there's no real big complaints or downfalls to Onyx, we were actually really satisfied with the way it worked but the Cut module seemed a little clumsy and we never could seem to print & cut within any decent...
  12. Caldera Visual Cut

Good Morning S101'ers! We've been running a trial version of Caldera on our L25500 and so far we are very pleased with it. As far as printing & cutting we're having a way better time with alignment & registration. My question is I know Caldera has the option to print a barcode for...
  13. Using A Laser Level ???

We have an old cheap laser level that is actually really cheesy but comes in super handy, on this particular one there's a dial you can spin on the back and it adjusts the laser so I can actually project it to follow the body line of the vehicle.
  14. Josh - BIGFISH (Shouting!!!)

I owe Josh a shout out from far too long ago! I'll reiterate what everyone else has said, he has great products at great prices and customer service is above and beyond!! Thanks again for all your help Josh! -Nathan
  15. l25500 fans?

Sounds perfectly normal. The little fan you're hearing when it's "asleep" is the small fan on the dryer kinda by itself. This little guy runs 24/7 and actually measures the current temperature.
  16. First wrap - Fender Flairs Suck

I see in your first post you used 2005EZ, am I correct in thinking that's a calendared film? If possible you might look into the 1005 cast film from Avery it looks like it's also available in a 48" roll. The difference will be night & day & if the job calls for a gloss finish you can use the...
  17. Help, Please.... Roland XC-540

Am I correct in thinking when you say "it rolls the media all the way back and off the machine" it's feeding all of the material off the roll? Like All-SignZ said possibly a stray anchor point, etc, is your size in Versaworks correct? Is it possible you are near the end of the roll & prefeed is...

  19. Elk Clipart

Happy Monday fellow Signs101'ers. I'm racking my brain trying to find this piece of elk clipart. Any suggestions, I checked out allied among several other vector sites with no luck. Thanks! -Nathan
  20. Giving the HP it's own space.

The only thing I wish I'd kept in mind is loading material onto the aluminum core. Our machine sits in a 12' square room but has to be positioned so the front loading table is at a 90 to the entry door. We did this so we can unload materials the way HP shows using their table, if we'd position...
