The only problems we had with the older avery is that we had tiny white spots in the print.
The Avery rep told me the the only reason they came out with the new 1105 is to fix that issue. everything else is the same.
I would stay away from arlon. Not sure how their product are nowadays but years ago i had a lot of shrinking problems with their materials
I prefer only avery and 3M
I am not on my computer but in versaworks go to Media then click on print color system library
When you print this you can not mess around with any settings. Print it. If everything comes out good then it's your files. Not the settings!
Whatever you did to the settings i think you should put it...
I might not know a lot of stuff but one thing is for sure. Even tho you have CMYK inks forget about cmyk files. You need to print from RGB files! Otherwise black wont be deep black. red will be pink, blue will be purple, etc.
Been there done that. I am using roland machines for 7 years or so. I...
Same guy emailed me! Mark II.
Same car, same material. It's a scam. I really wanted him to send me the CC info so I could call the bank and get the card reported as stolen but he never got back to me:
Weirdest thing is that he changed the story from ear surgery to lung treatment! LOL
After...
I am thinking to do the same thing. I will laminate the perf and then I have to add lettering (oracal 651).
I gotta do this because of the customer afraid that the small text won't be readable on the perf.
Its possible that you changed from cmyk to rgb in your document. That's the only reason I know why a color would be so different.
Btw I never ever print from PDFs. I always convert them to eps.
I had a few problems with pdfs before, like the time when there were some hidden layers that did not...
Super important!!!!!: the two unremovable pincroller's shape are different than the one you can put in and take out! You can not just change rubbers on the outside pinchrollers with the other ones. They have a tapered shape! You need to order the right pinchroller from your supplier.
I was also...
Thanks guys.
It's actually 20'. not 10.
I want to buy a smaller clear tape because i need to get a clear tape anyway. I have 30" paper tape but they only gonna need a 3 inch stripe. I would rather not have seams every 50 inch or something. I can do the biggest window in 1 piece with a 15" vinyl...
Hey, Guys.
This is the very first time I have to price a window frost vinyl job
The customer is in an office building. They have 10 foot of glass all around they want to put 3 stripes above each other so people don't walk into the glass.
The stripes are not big. Each stripe 3/4 height and 1/4 in...
who can afford 480? isn't that only a $100 extra?
Not sure how much is the molding tape but regular flat black vinyl might work too. Just cut strips with a straight edge.
Laying deep concave areas with finger??? uhhh. I did that back in the days when i started to wrap. Never again. Every time...
I don't use hexis and arlon because I had a problem with them back in the days. Shrinking. leaving all the glue, etc.
I used to like 3m a LOT but that changed when they put a new glue on the back of the vinyl and now it sucks. It curls it sticks LIKE CRAZY, hard to pull off the liner, etc.
If...
For future reference:
load the material and make sure you pull on the middle of the material with one hand also wiggle it left and right to make sure the material is straight. Hold it and lower the pinchrollers with other hand
Now do a sheet cut.
Make sure about 2 things: the rubber wheels on...
https://www.printograph.com/
they are wholesale. They denied my registration because my website did not state that i was doing business cards and flyers. So they are strict. I was using them when i used to work for somebody else. they have a 32 pt card and they were super cheap. I remember...
Rapid remover > spray it down in shade ( not inside!!!) wait 5 minutes> spray it down again> wait 5 minutes> spray it down again> now pressure wash the glue off.
