You're waaay overthinking it. I'm fairly certain it's just white reflective vinyl on white cars and Black reflective vinyl on the black/dark blue cars. What detachment in particular are you using as your reference? I know for a fact the OPP is just 3M black reflective.

Bill, it becomes even more of an issue when you have small text incorporated into the design. Small text comes out looking great, but the customers logo looks "jagged". Try getting them to sign off on that. Attached is an example.
I'm sometimes reluctant to send pdf files to clients - in that pdf "proof" = free vector artwork to send off to competitors.
In the "export" window that pops up in OMEGA, there's an options button... but I click on it, and it does nothing.
I find that exporting, and then scaling the image...
I replaced one a couple of years ago on my EDGE LE.
The "hardest" part was fishing the connector through from the back of the print head (top of the machine) into its proper position... tiny hands would have probably helped.
I found that removing the dancer bar and foil squeegee helped make some...
I guess I'm still in Monday morning mode, and hadn't even thought of googling "tribal fish" (assuming that's what you did). I did try Tin-Eye, though.

3M 680CR is pretty awesome stuff, cuts and weeds nicely. It should be really hard (as in - you'd actually be having to be trying) to trap air bubbles underneath.
