After checking Scanvec's website- Flexi is available in full license or by subscription. I just can't imagine anyone actually going month to month if they're using it for production. For a design station- maybe. But no way​ for production.

So Flexi followed Adobe's flawed (my opinion) lead? Weird. Our shop's version of Flexi (which was updated two or three weeks ago) is still ours- even though it does offer some "cloud" storage. And there's no monthly fee.

Did a semi once, and lined it up with the bottom of the door- which was a wonderful, straight line, and looked right. The customer ******* because the graphic didn't follow the contour line that came from just behind the window and then ran at about a 10 degree downward slope from the window...

Sometimes, you just can't find a straight line. I've use a laser level after establishing what I think looks right- just to make sure I keep it consistent. Worked every time.

I run a Mutoh printer and CG-160 cutter. Only thing I can think of is the registration marks are facing the opposite direction from the way ours end up (ours look like a vertically inverted L). Otherwise, I think the software is goofing something up.

Those suggestions are good ones, but is the vinyl moving as the printer runs? Because it almost seems from your description like your saying it's not- which would make me guess that the pinch rollers aren't working (a slipped belt or burned up motor or something, maybe). If the material is...

As others mentioned, you shouldn't convert the file to raster to print- especially at only 100 DPI. The Mutoh will do some fantastic work, but you're handicapping yourself. Print the vector file.

Weird. On my laptop- with 8.1.1, PDFs come in masked (as you said) but everything else seems to come in okay, though sometimes it depends on whether I import or just open the file. I'm not anywhere near my workstation, but I think FlexiCloud does the same thing. I guess it depends on how the...

Not sure of the manufacturer, but there's a product one of my suppliers has that doesn't require lamination and (they say) will come off clean with a pressure washer. If you'd like me to check the info Monday when I'm back in the office, send me a message and I'll let you know what it is.

Sadly, all I can offer is that you probably would've been better off setting a pile of money on fire. For the one time you can get a decent print out of an Encad, you're going to have 20 times that in trouble. At least that's my experience with them. What kind of material are you trying to use?

I love it when the "designer" specs out graphic films that were discontinued, or has a part number/color name that doesn't actually exist.

What he said. I can't imagine you'd get very good results on an unfinished piece of wood, or anything that's not constructed to accept the ink.
