3164 is a promotional vinyl, with a price that reflects that. Of course it shrinks....if you want vinyl that doesn't shrink, then you pay for something other than the cheapest vinyl that's printable. 3164 is excellent for handout stickers.

I'd love to have his customers^^^ We sell 3164 5 rolls to one of anything else we stock. Print/Cut unlaminated and our customers keep coming back. Turn your print temps down and it'll be fine. Also, if that doesn't work just print with crop marks let them dry a day then cut them the next day.

That vinyl is probably 25 years old....I've never been to any post office that had fresh graphics. The fact that the US government would sub out work to a printer out of the country is appalling.

We use 13oz scrim matte on a regular basis for this exact purpose. Backdrops, step and repeats etc.

Will do WHAT very quickly? We run max impact on 99% of our prints for years and never have bleeding ink....it was most likely a piece of dust on the bottom of the print head grabbing spray from the nozzle then dripping.

Hey guys! Finally ready to put this white channel to some use on our new VS540i! It's not a huge order by any means, but I'm glad, because it'll give us the chance to really play with the white ink printing on clear vinyl...these particular stickers are White ink ONLY (no color) on clear 3651...

Have you tried a different roll of vinyl with same results? If you get past that first stripe, and let it continue printing, does it happen again? Did you pause the print?

On REALLY tall walls, we'll go as far as tucking little tiny staples as far up against the top edge as we can about 12-16" apart. Customer never sees them, and I sleep better at night :)

hmmm...we've done heavy black wall prints before to even 3164 and installed to the wall with no issue. Only sat four days before installing.
