When you do a cleaning, does ink come through the head into the capping station? Can you do a test print? Even if nothing comes out of the head, does it actually do the procedure? Likewise, can you send a file to print and the machine works as usual?

I would guess that the head isn't seated properly. It's worth checking by popping it out then back in again. They are a tight snug fit and need to basically click down into place.

Where are you located Devo? I've got a CJV30 I do all my own maintenance. Not uncommon seeing things like that magenta dropout and nozzles missing. Don't get a tech out, they just throw everything at it all at once. Send us a PM and we'll see if we can nut it out.

In that picture, your dithering on the top of the black looks weird. I reckon you're using a wrong setting in your rip.. There should be dots, not lines. Also, you need to do a drop position test/ adjust to align bi-directional passes, not media comp.
