Had a head crash recently and now our 360 won't even boot up. It gets to the initializing screen and at 30% the carriage wiggles side to side about an inch and kicks out an error 86:01. I cleaned the encoder strip and sensor which got rid of the errors, cleaned and lubed rails just in case. I...
We've done both depending on what/how it's being installed. We used to use it when we constantly had to change out lightbox graphics in an arena, they stayed up anywhere from 3 months to over 5 years now (interior). We switched to something much easier to remove.
Wet or dry didn't really matter...
I leave the rivet line in a tunnel about 3/4 of the width of the roller I'm using, work from the middle out in one direction at a time. I've switched to torches (much faster to get the temp needed and no cords) for truck/trailer installs, kiss it with heat and roll. If it doesn't conform...
It depends on how long they want them up. In the NHL they're usually only used for a single game and new ones put on for the next one. Up here in Canada there has been quite a bit of testing on this in the past years. They're typically done with a thick vinyl and a thick laminate that are both...
Mesh is much better than vinyl with slits. Vinyl with slits doesn't reduce wind resistance by much and imo looks really ugly. Either option will eventually tear though. The life you get out of it will all depend on the install (also +1 to reinforce all anchor points). Make sure it's tight to...
I forget who did a study on this but they found that you'll even get ads for things other people near you have said through their phones and location settings. They scan your Gmail to better target ads to you. It's been going on for a while. They basically make a profile of you based on whatever...
Chrome at work, I prefer Opera at home, been using it since the early 2000s and it has a free VPN service built in. I haven't played around with the VPN though yet so I'm not sure how good it is.
We've never seen that when we had our Roland, but I did find this:
"Next time it happens power down and unplug the machine and press the power button 5 or 6 times kinda slow. This should drain the capacitors and allow the board to relearn."
Appears to have worked for someone.
A big part of the problem in our area is our competition actually naming their business quick-this or fast-that (they seem to be dwindling though) and then people expect the same from us.
We typically only have these quick turnaround requests from existing customers that actually NEED something...
Minimal pressure on the laminator as well and make sure your laminate is nice and tight when going through. I'm used to doing it but seems like everyone that occasionally laminates perf in our shop messes it up their first couple tries.
Is this the clear focus perf? We laminate the majority of our perfs and had a similar problem with clear focus products. We now use Contra Vision for vehicles with 1360 laminate and haven't had any problems.
See if you can pull the laminate off the perf easily by hand, could be incompatible...
We had problems running Magnum on our HP, it would usually work but print quality wasn't as good as vinyl and when you did get a head strike it was usually a bad one.
I did get some samples of some Newlife Magnetics that look interesting, but I doubt we'll ever directly print magnets ever again...
I believe small claims limits were increased throughout Canada, pretty sure it's 25k in Ontario now, should be similar in Saskatchewan.
It doesn't cost that much to get a judgement (couple hundred I think not including lawyer fees), but then you have to go about enforcing it which is through a...
It's tough, a couple years ago we started a policy where we would bill parts of a job for newer clients as they get completed before we proceed with the next things.
JT does bring up a good point, you may have better luck with corporate.
