  1. Seal 62 ProS Help

Yup, we get the same thing with pretty much any calendared lams and some cast ones. It seems to just be the nature of it like bannertime said, we don't scrap jobs because of it either. But lately, I pretty much make the laminator my office when laminating larger rolls and people can come see...
  2. Need Help Printing Problems HP Latex 365 HELP!!!!!

We had something similar but the lines weren't as rectangular. Have you tried cleaning the encoder sensor? I cleaned ours and it fixed it for a bit, but a couple months later we had to replace the encoder strip and sensor.

  4. Best Banner Material to Use on HP 365 Printer to Avoid Heat Issues?

We've been using Grimco's Briteline 13oz since we got our 360, can't recall ever having a head strike or any problem with the stuff in something like 5 years.
  5. What material are these panels?

The Beach Boys will cause just about anything to start peeling. ;)
  6. What material are these panels?

We use calendared a lot for backlit and have never had issues, looks like it wasn't applied properly or cheap cheap stuff. They might have sliced it right at the frame and the vibrations after time started peeling the edges then it just kept going.
  7. S2 Replacing Lever

  8. S2 Replacing Lever

Quick question, I'm switching out the lever on our S2 (old one snapped off) but I'm not sure with way to orient the square rod back in. There's a plastic clip to the right of the lever that the spring inside attaches to with a tab on one corner. (picture attached) Should this tab be facing up...

Don't do it while wearing headphones or you'll get a static shock right in your ear.
  10. Need Help What kind of Clear vinyl are you using for decals?

I've had issues cutting heavier films too fast. My guess is the extra weight caused it to slip a bit here and there, slowed it down and it cut perfectly.
  11. Question Onyx paper profiles

I've found that gloss media generally have better colour saturation compared to other finishes. Do you have photos to compare the results?
  12. Need Help What kind of Clear vinyl are you using for decals?

We use Oracal 3620 and 3651, HP 360 and Summa. This looks more like a cutter issue.
  13. Polycarbonate sign face broken??

This happens when the poly is older and has gotten a lot of sun. We never roll or bend the faces (if possible) we're replacing because of this, and always tell the customer beforehand that it's possible for old faces to snap when removing and putting back in the frame. You can typically feel the...
  14. Need Help 4 Part Valet Parking Ticket- Need Vendor

Parking tickets is an odd thing to look for, most likely will be custom. Any printer with perfing equipment can do this though. Basically it's a postcard (3.5x11ish) with 3 perfs on it.
  15. Question Exterior Window Frame Wrap

We wrapped an entire government tourism building in vinyl, all the door, window frames and a corrugated roof. What a PITA. I didn't want to touch it but our sales rep sold it so we were committed. Took weeks and we couldn't do the roof past around 11-12 in the morning because it got so damn hot...

  19. Music...

Got bored of listening to music at work several years ago. Now I do podcasts, figured might as well learn some stuff throughout the day and keep up on interests.
  20. Attaching 6mm ACM

We've attached pad-mount studs with Signlok onto 3mm routed ACM, was 3x7 feet I believe. Mounted it in a high traffic college hallway, still feels solid years later. It's just not outdoor so I can't speak to the life out in the elements.
