Check with a local trophy shop. They might have something that is a match or would be able to get something close.

Double the cost. And when quoting a full job (design, sign, install), I tack on an extra 12% to the sign cost to make up for miscellaneous things like tape and squeegees and blades etc.

If white is required, I would print white onto the reflective with my Edge but at 85 or 90%. It still allows the reflective to show through but would give a white appearance.

What billct2 said, but also make sure that you have the cuts/prints set correctly. It sucks to send something to print and then realize you forgot to set a cut.

Did a sign here a couple years back. White background with blue lettering. Got a call from the client a few days after install that the city contacted them that there was too much white on the sign. They have a percentage that they allow so that the signs aren't too bright. Crazy, right?

Same here if the letters are standing off, but I believe these letters are being mounted with double sided tape. If the background is printed, I would inline the letters 1/16" and print the letters into the design. If painted surface, paint mask, but only cut the bottom 3/4" of the letters and...

I'm not familiar with inkjet printing, but this looks like the ink is not bonding with the static cling. Is the static compatible with the type of ink you're using? Does the ink print fine on other materials?

Just checked my Edge fonts, and didn't have anything similar.

Apply transfer tape to the vinyl. Apply vinyl to substrate. DO NOT remove tape. Route on CNC. Remove tape. I would suggest doing a wet app and let it sit a day or two before routing. I do this all the time on all sorts of substrates. Never had any issues.

As an employee, I would not expect to have to purchase my own license for software in order to "practice" at home. Now, have I purchased my own license of some software, of course, but it's been for personal use. Our shop software is over three grand for full blown edition. Designer edition...

That's weird. Because if the preview is correct, I would think it's in the printer settings. Have you double checked them all? Not that I think this would apply, but what version do you have? I know the Student version doesn't allow printing in color. Maybe there's something like that going...

How long is the client expecting the vinyl to last? Why kind of fleet vehicles? Box trucks? Vans? Does it need to be print/cut or can it just be cut graphics?
