Dealing with corporate contacts, not the manager of the warehouse. This is a GOOD customer, so we unhappily ate the expense. The job got done in the evening instead and the installers got to come back on the correct day.
I read most of the replies here and agree with them, but it seems that your biggest hurdle is low-paid unskilled laborers working in a job where you should instead have well-paid highly skilled workers. Our installers are professional installers, certified, etc. Their pay starts out in the low...
At least they called, most of the time when a vehicle doesn't show up as scheduled it just does not show up. A lot of the time we have enough for our installers to divert them to another project, but sometimes we have large projects scheduled with multiple installers and THAT vehicle doesn't...
I just printed a banner for a decent sized company (locally famous) adding a new branch to their existing business model. Instead of Artisan Meats, they are selling Artesian Meats. They provided the text outlined, the job was a rush. I pushed print. No complaints so far. ;)
Thanks! We went ahead and just pushed it back up kinda into place for now and everything is seating/printing correctly. I guess I will keep an eye open for a blown head.
We had some humidity in our print room from all of the rain recently causing material buckling. Apparently it caused the material to buckle bad enough that it lifted the edge and caused the head to crash into the material guide. This in turn bent the "head surround" metal piece; no idea what it...
@VecDoc, I have used similar programs before. I will have to give that particular one a try sometime though.
However, this is not what I am wanting to do, since it appears Adobe has integrated something very similar into Illustrator already, I was wondering if it had an interface that I am missing.
In the newer Illustrator CC fonts can be sorted by Classification, similarity, etc easily through the drop down menu.
See this link: Fonts in Illustrator
Anyways, it just automatically sorts the fonts you have installed and classifies them into its own pre-determined groups. However, some fonts...
you do NOT want to use perf, as the outside being brighter than the inside of the building during the day would really wash it out. You will want a block-out adhesive for this project. I would suggest using Avery MPI2631. Easy to install/remove and priced great also. MPI 2600 Wall Film Series |...
When we went to sell our 360 we just shut it down, unplugged it and put a dust cover (tarp) over and around it to keep it clean. We fired it up a few months later when someone was interested and after plugging it back in and running a cleaning cycle it was just fine.
3M solid colors are in 180MC (instead of 180c) now, is it a color that is not available in that series? The 1080 is a bit thicker than 180, so it will be a bit more of a hassle over rivets, etc, but does a better job at being a "block out" material.
