  2. Need Advice on how to cut acrylic sheets with circular saw

We use siding finishing blades (140t) on our 7-1/4 saw for our plastics. I find the more teeth and thinner blades work best.
  3. Need Help Accidently removed an attachment in Outlook...how do I get it back?

Not sure on Windows, but on Mac Outlook stores all attachments in your user library.
  4. spot color problem

Can't just convert them to CMYK? Or at least some of them? I think that's what adobe recommends when people ask.
  5. Brand New GFP Installed - Tips and Tricks?

There really is a fine line with these things. What I have found is to start with as little pressure as possible that will still feed through and then after a couple feet you can up it a tiny bit, just not too much. Also adding tension to your print, whether by hand or putting it on the spindle...
  6. Aggressive vinyl for cold surfaces

I recently got a newsletter ad for 3M 3500c which has a application temp of 28F. I've installed vinyls calling for 10c at below 0 and not had issues though. Just depends on application I think.
  7. Need Help Solution Needed for Bus Signage

We've been using Drytac SpotOn for short term coverups. Both printed and unprinted, goes on and comes off easily. Has never affected anything underneath. But we've never used it on a vehicle.
  8. Partial Wrap - HELP

I've done a few of these and switched to horizontal seam after the first one, I found it was quicker and easier going with horizontal panels on the sides.
  9. cutting out reflective printed decals

I've covered the marks with small pieces of matte laminate before which helped, but it wasn't reflective material, it was clear.

  12. Encoder Strip Cleaning

I've always just used water. But I do it regularly once a month so I've never let it get bad enough for the printer to prompt a cleaning.
  13. Onyx Color issues

Is this in the preview window in Onyx or when it's actually printed? You can't trust the previews in Onyx. I use 40/30/30/100 for rich black, haven't noticed anything strange.
  14. HP Latex 360 print problem with Orafol 3551 DT

It looks like the ink isn't laying down evenly. I would try a higher pass profile, if that doesn't, clean it and see what happens.
  15. HP Latex 360 print problem with Orafol 3551 DT

Does it look this way before it passes through the heat? I've had similar results on some odd vinyls and ended up having to create a profile from scratch for them. You could try cleaning it with alcohol to see if the roll has some contaminants on it. Also, our 360 doesn't seem to get a long...
  16. Painted block wall wrap - Envision or IJ180? or other? tools?

We use 480 for textured walls. I wouldn't worry much about which laminate, when applied properly, the gloss becomes quite matte. Use a lot of force and go quite slowly, there's not a huge gap between heating the film too much and not heating it enough in my experience. We usually only put the...
  17. Are all self piercing grommets the same?

All I know is that Fasnap #2 grommets don't fit in our Hiker press even though they claim to be the same size as the Hiker #2.
  18. Suggestions for quality retractable banner stands

I'm really not a fan of those cheap stands, we use orient and imagine stands for the most part.
  19. Roland SP 540V?

I wonder if this is the 540 we sold to a dealer a couple years ago. lol I was never a huge fan of the 540v, I mean it was a decent printer, got the job done. Quality on ours wasn't great, but I think that was cuz the heads were so bad. Also ours had no motorized take-up reel which was a huge...
  20. The Dangers of Having Anti-Virus

Tech security experts all rank anti-virus very low on the list of ways to protect yourself, most say the built in windows defender is plenty. Many anti-virus programs have had flaws exposed that allows people into computers running them. Anti-viruses won't catch new viruses because they don't...
