  1. A little rebranding.... Thoughts

I know you didn't ask but this was another one of those things that got stuck in my head last night so I was lying in bed, ignoring my wife talking about something meaningless, and designing this in my head. So it became the morning design project. It is what it is for all its glorious faults.
  2. Why we pay high USPS postage rates? Here is the answer....

As my mailman says....if you think you can do it cheaper and better they are more than happy to let you deliver it yourself.
  3. A little rebranding.... Thoughts

You really need to start over on the logo. It doesn't flow very well and the font choices are dated, at best. You've been designing a long time since you created the original logo....it's time to put that knowledge and experience to work and create a nice, solid icon and logo for yourself...
  4. 322 5" x 7" signs needed

The PVC I'd trust completely and I like the appearance of the added thickness. The printing--three to five years. Personally if I was doing it I'd try to get them to go with painted PVC and vinyl graphics but I do like Rick's idea of back painted acrylic.
  5. 322 5" x 7" signs needed

Method 1: Have aluminum composite routed/water jetted to oval. Apply graphics. Not as much work as it sounds. You can probably find somebody local but if not www.bettersigns.com offers several material options. Method 2: Sub it out to somebody like Georgia Printco. Have them direct print...

  7. Walk-ins...

Side note....I've been asked several times in the last couple of years by racers who are paying me to cut letters if I want to stick my name on the quarter panels. They didn't want a discount, they didn't want me to sponsor them, they just wanted more stickers on the car to make it look like a...
  8. Walk-ins...

It's about time somebody chimes in with one of those "I did some stripes for a guy while he waited one time....he came back the next week with a $50 million order" posts.
  9. First Made-in-America Smartphone

Heck no. I was just being a smart-***. A 2000 person employer is HUGE for the local economy and it's nice to see economic forces here aligning so that a company can (and will) bring that kind of manufacturing back. I wish I could find that news article I read about Black and Decker circular...
  10. Real Estate Frames 20x30

www.russellsteel.com They're in Kansas. Freight shipping is surprisingly cheap. They don't show that exact configuration but they do custom orders and they are CHEAP.
  11. First Made-in-America Smartphone

So you're saying that instead of a smart phone made by tiny, young underpaid Chinese hands this will be a smart phone made by tiny, young, underpaid migrant workers?
  12. Signs365 went above and beyond.

What does that mean? My last couple of orders from them have shown up Next Day Air. I assumed it was just a shipping mix up, certainly a nice surprise and nothing to complain about.
  13. thinking of selling business

Probably the smartest thing you've ever said.
  14. Another Font ID Please

Edwardian Script. End cut off C, outlined slightly to make it bolder.
  15. thinking of selling business

Was always told that if you're too busy then you're too cheap.
  16. Looking for a used copy of Flexi sign or something compatable.

Flexi Starter 10 is on ebay for around $125
  17. thinking of selling business

Depends a lot on whether you own a job or a business. A "job" requires you to be there for it to make money. A "business" is a system designed to make money without you being there. The reason most small businesses don't sell for much is because there's nothing of real value left once the...
  18. Supplier for patches

Not a wholesaler but the last time (and only time) I had patches made my best price came from here: http://24hourwristbands.com/shop/custom-patches/no-backing-sew-on-patches
  19. Where would you open your next wrap shop?

Inside the local commercial truck/van dealership.
  20. Who can get this done?

Any chance those are thin plastic static clings? (and before some smartass answers for you there is a thin smooth plastic static cling material that works a hell of a lot better than the flimsy crap everybody tries to use)
