  1. WTH?! Thought we were thru this....Paper towels are like Unicorns

This Sunday our Governor rolled us back into the highest level lockdown she can authorize without going to court. Rubbing alcohol and hand sanitizer disappeared first. Can't wait to see what we all get for Christmas.
  2. Post holes with a drill...

    This is getting interesting
  3. Please share your tip/trick that will keep this contour cutting catastrophe from happening again

I don't have a summa but I do have problems with contour cuts now and then. I was cutting a big sheet of 15" round floor graphics and the stuff was so thick and heavy it was skewing badly enough after a couple of rows that it started to ruin the run. I had 10 full sheets already printed and...
  4. What do you do with corrugated plastic scraps?

If you have a bunch of long 4" to 6" strips you could donate them to your favorite protest, counter-protest and or occupying group. I was watching a news clip and some of the road barriers that were being thrown out of the way looked like the horizontal slats on them were 10mm Coro, covered with...
  5. Post holes with a drill...

Tex, are you an Italian Texan?
  6. I am hating CorelDraw 2020!

We need to ask the boss man if we can build a wall, and make the Illustrator users pay for it.
  7. He called me for help with his sign

With a product /service range from 30-minute repairs to snuffs this should be an easy one for you to hit out of the park Tex.
  8. Suggestions For walk-in sign businesses - Your COVID-19 update tips

Our Governor just tested positive so I know we are all going to die now. Before I sign off for the last time I am going to donate all my likes & upvotes to some of the people here on the list that do not have enough.
  9. Just In Any Glass Men up to this?

That is very clear looking glass.
  10. Need Help How to lay down a big graphic and how to align it?

Another option if the alignment is critical is to pre-set the seams on the table then install it as one big panel. Do your alignment with the overlap - tape it in place. Pull a little of the backer away from the top panel and squeegee down the seam - smooth the release sheet back down and tape...
  11. ATM Material

We are wrapping ATMs with 3M 180c-v3 and matching luster lam. Can't really tell you how long they are going to last. This is our first ATM project. They are most likely going to get flushed with some kind of disinfectant bleach daily to combat C-19 so the wraps may die off before the virus does.
  12. Window perf lifting in corners... solutions?

Maybe cut some strips of 3M 8520 cast matte lam - no gloss
  13. What would you REALLY do if you had symptoms of Coronavirus?

Re-reading through this thread is like coming across the logbook of a lost expedition to one of the poles. Day 43: Spirits are high but supplies are starting to run low. TP is now being rationed. Day 60: Things are not looking good. We have decided as a group to eat Tim Toad.
  14. Is this REALLY how a sign cabinet should be built?!

Nit-picking - but the welds on the repairs look a little - rushed. I think I might shop around for the next box.
  15. What to charge? Or not?

Double plus freight sounds good. Don't forget to add in the C-19 charge. Masks, sanitizer, and take-out food are not free.
  16. VJ1304 Sledge

Have you tried taking the left side cover off and sliding the carriage all the way to the left and then going at it (carefully) with some tweezers?
  17. Is this REALLY how a sign cabinet should be built?!

At least they supplied it with screws that have enough extra threads for them to take a good long while to pull completely out.
  18. How to add cut line & bleed to existing design

I think Flexi's color trapping option could work but in Illustrator I'm not sure how to go about it in a quick smart fashion. Using brute force for a dirty solution I copied the layer 4 times worked on them one at a time. 1.Combined the original shadow and letters to make the cut line - in cyan...
  19. Problem Solving

At times I also overthink things:
  20. Covid silver bullet? BS?

Time to upgrade our masks 'Dr. Anthony Fauci says that eye protection may be recommended at some point to help prevent spreading COVID-19.' I'm ordering one of these with the optional deep water fording kit (intake snorkel and waterproof filter):
