  1. Vinyl for glasses

    Acid etch.
  2. Can I do it all? Signs, Screen Printing, Embroidery, Vehicle Graphics?

As stated, not by yourself. Since I work by myself I tend to try to do a couple things extremely well and source the rest. Just because you have the equipment and knowledgeable on how to operate them does not make you the best at any one thing. Choose a passion and do that well.
  3. Chrome foil messing up

Seems to me if it's printing a line, it's the coding or printer, not the foil. Does it do it on anything else?
  4. Trying to justify the time spent with customers...

Simple - you're not charging enough for your time to do all the things you need to do. And/or not charging enough across the board for your signs. Really not enough info to make any sort of suggestion, but basics first...
  5. Is the attached CORAL File Corrupt?

I'm wondering the same thing. Never seen Corel files that small, no matter what the image.
  6. Printing too short

There is a PF adjust on the Mutoh console menu. I'd have to look it up again to see how to access it. The machine will print two lines, you measure and enter the adjustment accordingly.
  7. Vinyl not sticking

That's called chalking, and you should have checked that way before even trying to apply the vinyl. Yes, it can be removed through scrubbing and even a light buffing - a regular "hand wash" or power wash won't take it off. The box should be shiny when it's clean - not dull. Hard lesson to learn...
  8. Police Car kits

Those doors are reasonably flat. Even I would wrap those in house... and I don't do wraps. I would, however, put it with the caveat that if the doors get dinged and the vinyl outside the graphic gets damaged, they have to replace everything or live with the vinyl damage.
  9. 3M 8508 Laminate Shrinking... Tired of the Manufacturer Blaming us

Thats what I want to know. Use IJ180C with the 8519 for years..
  10. Mustang Viper Stripes

That's to make them look the same width as it crosses over the body if you're looking from dead on or behind. The little details like that make the difference.
  11. Has anyone tried a SafeCut Mouse?

Seems to be a solution to a problem that didn't exist. Metal straight edge, utility knife.. faster and same result.
  12. Having small Lines 'Ghost' Under print

Yep, definitely a deflected nozzle or more. Head clean, then clean again. Check for shmutz on the head, too...
  13. Having small Lines 'Ghost' Under print

Kinda hard to see, but could be a paper feed speed issue or a heat issue.
  14. Bought a Mutoh 1204 that has become a real challenge.

Have you run an actual file through it rather than just the palette test? Could be just in internal error with that test sending the head home and out again. I doubt it'll clear the overheat issue, but there's only one way to find out.
  15. 1968 car "wrap"

I wonder how they 'restored' it to it's original if it had been painted over? It's only original once.. and repainting the car to make it look like it once was (the mural, in this case) is just a repaint. There is even a guy selling a replica painted the same way...
  16. Bought a Mutoh 1204 that has become a real challenge.

Too many variables to really figure a reason. To me, if it's going 'home', locking, then coming back out, that almost points to a processor error or something. But the fact that the head is heating up enough to give you the 085 error points to needing a new head. There may be a work-around, I...
  17. Bought a Mutoh 1204 that has become a real challenge.

    New head and/or cables.
  18. Printing from my VJ-628 and i get this... Normal????

Like the others said - static and/or overspray. Do a nozzle check or print a simple black border box from Flexi and see what happens. If it's repeatable on other files, then you know it's the machine.
  19. 1204 Making a whistling noise

Sure it's not coming from the fans underneath?
  20. I designed customers artwork; they take it and run.... What the ?

Yep. If you didn't contract and get paid for the artwork, then you've got nothing to stand on. Never do free work - ever. At the very least put something in writing.
