i haven't done a full wrap on one of these yet but i have done a few partials. didn't encounter any problems (none any different from a van) sliding doors on the side and some plastic moldings but nothing major
i have done partial stripes around the whole thing 24" wide x ... but you might need more than 10 yds(maybe)
did go check out the veichle and measure it?
also the bumpers and grill suck to wrap)

we have been very happy with our roland print cut machines. affordable. also you will have to look into laminators if you don't already have one or one big enough for large format. if you did want to go flatbed we have the roland lej640 not too much bigger than our slovent machines and the price...
we charge rush fees also or if we feel the customer will make a stink we just bury it in the unit cost. it's not so much the money as it is finding time to do the jobs.
are there any customers that can give me a week to do a job.
we are busy as hell right now so i am not complaining but it seems that everyone needs their job yesterday.
normally depending on how busy we are a digital job is 5-7days
and silk screen 10-15. if it's a larger job we add days...
we just use the clear calandered vinyl profile. that gives us the best results
it should print on the high quality setting. i use the solvex material all the time and it usually prints fine
(sometimes i will get some quality issues depending on the file) heat is set on 41 pre, 41 print and 41...
i forgot ryonet was going to be there wanted to see them also. wasn't a bad show closer then AC . my boss is going to the vegas show next month and i have to stay and man the shop...that sucks !!!!! (i want to go to vegas)
i was there this morning. got to see typestries, tyrrell and GRS. (all members)
was a small show but i got the info i needed. had to pass up a free lunch from a vendor at the show but had to get back to the office (still here..sucks!)
do you have some other vinyl to print and compare it with?
if you did a cleaning and the test print looks as it always does good chance it's the vinyl
how are your heaters? i have had printing issues when using different materials that i had to change the temps and forgot to change it back...
