  1. HO HO HO! Who's sending cards this year?

I'm gonna continue sending cards to my 25 main clients. And I'm going to continue getting pissed off when i don't get one from from any of my three biggest suppliers. We used to get enough cards every year to fill up a card holder. This year i'll be shocked if I get 10.
  2. Tips on installing post in concrete

Even with the right equipment cutting that many holes is a job and you never know if you're gonna run into rebar, or buried utilitites, or a slab that just happens to crack where you drilled it. Let somebody with experience do it and let them deal with the problems. You just mark it up and...
  3. Tips on installing post in concrete

I gave up killing myself to make holes. If I need a hole in concrete or asphalt now I just call a local concrete cutting company. They've got the equipment and make perfect holes, all I have to do is mark where I want them. Place your post in and pour PRE-MIXED concrete into the hole (not dry...

ICANN controls that, essentially under contract with the United States Department of Commerce and the GAC. If you actually look into it, though, they really have no authority other than what is assumed they have. I don't know if their authority has ever been really challenged and nothing I...

  16. Sure! We can get you vector art.

Customer called, asked for all kinds of specs. He's having 8' x 40' banners printed and he was worried about the resolution and file sizes if he did them in Photoshop. Asked if it was something he could do in vector art and he jumped right on that idea. Got the files today. Keep in mind...

  19. Anyone know a good charity for the holidays?

Marlene just reminded me of something. Many years ago I was close friends with a girl who had just started teaching 3rd grade in a school primarily made up of kids from really poor families. The kind of school where they don't even bother asking if anyone can afford to pay for lunch. The...
  20. Mounting Banner on Roof

Stainless steel screws, rubber washers between the banner and the shingles. That's worked out fine for me the few times I've had to do it. The biggest thing for them to remember is when the banner comes down they need to patch each one of the holes very well with roofing repair caulk.
