  1. Spot UV business cards by 4Over, design by Phillip...

Thanks everyone! I went with the thickest (16pt.) and 4:4 color w/spot UV front and back. Total was around $40 for 1,000 cards.
  2. OUTDOOR Installation: Advise on attaching anodized aluminum to 3/4" PVC sheets.

If you go with an aluminum frame, the clear VHB tape by itself will do the job. The stuff is incredibly strong and long lasting if you prep the material correctly.
  3. OUTDOOR Installation: Advise on attaching anodized aluminum to 3/4" PVC sheets.

I agree with Rick's idea. 4905 or 4910 VHB tape around the entire perimeter and a few central pieces and I think you'd be fine. It has enough give to accommodate the expansion. edit: May want to check with 3M on which tape is best suited for ePVC. I know it will work on aluminum, poly and...
  4. Spot UV business cards by 4Over, design by Phillip...

I'm really happy with Phillip's design and also with 4Over. They were fast and their prices are great. I ordered them on Tuesday (11th) and received them today (17th).
  5. What's your margin?

  6. clear plastic cards ?

4Over offers clear and frosted. Just got my sample pack and they're pretty nice. And yes, you can do full color.
  7. Black Vinyl Grid - Help Please

Came out nice. Did you have to do the weeding?
  8. Lazy man's dibond sign installation?

I have yet to find a rough surface that VHB won't stick to long enough for the silicone to set up. If by chance you do run into that problem though, carry some fast dry epoxy with you and use it in place of silicone.
  9. .012" aluminum signs

That's funny. Yeah, I think someone got their figures wrong.
  10. Window Perf caused window to crack

Seems like a good clause to include on any quotes - a small blurb about the possible causes of cracked glass and a disclaimer clearing yourself from any breakage after installation.
  11. Design & Layout work Stolen

Weis has some pretty great donuts and apple fritters.
  12. 4Over

    Good to know, thank you!
  13. Vinyl for permanent wall installation

Yeah, I would at least have someone snap a photo with their cell phone and email/text it to you. "Soft" sounds like a fabric wall paper or even a fabric-over-frame wall.
  14. 4Over

Soooo....about to place my order on 4Over. I'm choosing 16pt., 4:4 (full color front & back), spot UV front & back, 1000 cards (minimum it will let me choose), with emailed proof and the total is only $34.99?? That seems way too cheap. Are their prices just that good?
  15. Hand painted 1953 panel truck

Very nice. The panel van is gorgeous. That gas cap needs replacing or painting, but the van is nice!!
  16. Lazy man's dibond sign installation?

    What is the wall surface/material?
  17. Looking for Retired vinyl sign guys work?

Wow...that is a lot of (very nice) work. That has to be cost-prohibitive given the capabilities of digital printing.
  18. Carved sign with light fixture.

I'm with Bill on the lighting, but that does look really nice. Good work!
  19. Measure twice print once

Came out great - nice work!
  20. small backlit letters

Agreed on the edge lighting. Have the outline of the letters routed into the back of the acrylic panel. Apply your vinyl to the front, trying to keep it inset slightly from the routed portion on the back so that the lighting will 'outline' the vinyl. Run a string of LED's along any of the...
