  1. Need Help HP 260 Latex

Using media clips? I have to use them for many poster materials, phototex, and sometimes banner.
  2. Do you like your profession?

I started at my first sign shop 25 years ago, with a baby on the way, needing a new job that paid better. I started there with the mindset of "this will do for now". 25 years later, after 5 or 6 different companies, I guess I haven't really sought out what I would do after the "temporary" line...
  3. FC8600/ARMS, contour cutting reflectic media (chrome) issues

Yes....and of course, this does require the built in laser in the plotter. I forget that some don't have one.
  4. Discussion Welcome thread- Tell us about yourself or just say hello.

Hello...my name is Eric. I am an alcoh---- oh wait, wrong group.
  5. FC8600/ARMS, contour cutting reflectic media (chrome) issues

No I never have to change out the bladeholder. Just use the 4 point marks in Flexi when you send your print/cut job. When time to cut, send the cut job as usual and follow the on screen directions, selecting Digitize alignment. The laser is used for aligning to the reg marks.
  6. FC8600/ARMS, contour cutting reflectic media (chrome) issues

Manual bomb sight alignment with 4 point targets...I always tell people to use it instead when they have issues.
  7. What is the interior color of your office?

    Cool looking shop!
  8. french cleat & second surface acrylic signs?

What you could do is affix a 3mm black PVC to the back side of the acrylic, about 2-3" shorter all around, then affix your cleats or mounts to that. You should have no problem of the cleats pulling off the vinyl then.
  9. What do I need to run Flexi 12 well?

I wouldn't worry too much about super powerful pc to run Flexi. It's PS, AI, etc that need power. We have 2 people here running Flexi on laptops with no real issues. You just don't wanna RIP files or anything with them.
  10. french cleat & second surface acrylic signs?

We just back the white vinyl backed print with a layer of black vinyl. Then VHB the cleats.
  11. Contaminated Orajet 3751GRA ?

Discuss it with your supplier? Yeah, cause they have anything to do with manufacturing defects. I HATE when the MANUFACTURER shirks responsibility. I don't use their print vinyl anymore (save for one clear printable, which is a marginal product). I'd dump em and go back to 3M. I'm very happy...
  12. Flexi drives me nuts with this

We're on 12 here. And this doesn't happen every time. Sometimes it's perfect. But 8/10 times, when I PURPOSELY set it to be even rows/columns, this will happen. When you try to eliminate even the smallest amount of wasted material, it's very frustrating. OH and not to mention, we typically give...
  13. any one know where to find this bracket....

Sounds like a standard direct mount bracket, but hinged or something so it can lay flat? I can't say I've seen one before, but it may exist.
  14. Flexi drives me nuts with this

Anyone else have this issue? When I print multiple copies of a decal, and let's say I need 100....so I set it up in Production Manager, and they fit in 10 rows of 10, perfectly square on the sheet. Once it prints, it will change and do like 9 across, which make it 12 rows, with 1 all by itself...
  15. Hallo from Russia

    Пожалуйста, пришлите нам водку
  16. Laminator For Mounting Prints

Daige has a 55" one that's $2K new...so used would be much less. And IMO Daige is only good for mounting.
  17. The things we do....

They call that green a "dark aqua"?
  18. Rubber edging

Maybe buy that edge trim that you can put on your car doors to stop door dings....comes in black, white and clear.
