On one hand, its shitty and you shouldn't copy other people's work. On the other hand, the other company shouldn't have provided the person with artwork that they could then take somewhere else. And like you, we do not do any artwork without a deposit for exactly this reason.

thanks for the input everyone. I did actually search the forums before i posted but I couldn't find anything specific. My partner thinks its silly anyway and we need to just figure out how to get the stupid rollers off our current laminator so I can send them out for repair.

i'm not sure if this will work, but I think you can laminate translucent vinyl to reflective.

like i said, once you perforate 12oz 25%, you effectively only have 8oz of weight per sqft (or whatever area that weight is calculated by.)

has anyone actually done one? I didn't know you could even get a mesh banner printed double sided. Also, I think you want it to be heavier weight so it doesn't tear apart. I could be wrong, but I assume the weight is the weight before its peforated. And depending on the perf count, a 12 oz...

I called US Tech, its $1200 per roller to replace. I bought my laminator exactly 5 years ago for $2775. The same model now costs $3350. My partner thinks we should probably just buy new rollers, and I sorta agree.

It looks like we need to either replace or refurbish the rollers on our laminator. What do I google to find someone who can mill them locally? I have a US Tech Laminator and I haven't even reached out to them to find out replacement cost or availabilty. I assume its going to be expensive.

I think you can do it. I'd use a pounce pattern and exterior latex paint. Just don't forget your mahl stick.

Hm. Good to know. I've been using FM Expressions over Ace Transfer because Ace is so behind on technology. They don't communicate well and its annoying that they don't email order acknowledgements or invoices.
