Strike It Rich
Get ready to strike it rich at our SGIA booth with another Roland first for wide format digital printing. The Roland booth will offer an exclusive sneak peek at this...
we where working with nazdar on flatbed printers and we where looking at the raster
(rastek) and they showed us some good samples i think your best bet is to go to the demo with them and bring some samples of material you can print on and have them show your what they do and the profiles...
we have been looking in to the flatbeds as well but our digital business has dropped a bit the past few months(good thing we do screen printing and hot stamping also)
but we did not like the results from the ion
the mimaki is nice we also looked at the raster and the agfa
i think the agfa...
save it as a pdf
do you have illustrator
we have an old version of cad and we use the Roland to print the die layouts
(we make steal rule dies) most of the customers files are done in cad so we save them as pdf and then bring them into illustrator to make any adjustments for printing on the...
i would just change the magenta first it seems that is the only color you are having a problem with
and i found out from one of my ink suppliers that the capping stations are now a comsumable product and not under warranty by roland any more
if that doesn't work you might need new capping stations
we justhad to replace them in both our rolands
not too bad cost about $23-29 per station
and you can put them in your self
we have a 6ft x 8ft and a 4ft x 8ft table
both plywood covered with Formica
works good and when it get cut up too much i will recover it or get cutting mats
but we have had the larger one for about 3 years and it is in good shape
and the smaller one is about a year old and barely a scratch
what kind of material are you printing on
we have had issues on occasion with our versa camms where the material had a lot of static as it unrolled and would cause like an over spray in the white areas
sorry not familiar with that printer
also did you try a head cleaning
what can i get with my bonus points
maybe a chinese finger trap
or some fake dog poop
anything from the bottom shelf to the middle shelf but not up by the large stuffed animals
snakey nice job makes me think about doing that at home if i ever get all my kids stuff out of the garage
just read a thread asking about printing posetives for screen printing
and a few people said they print them off their roland machines
what material are you using
can't you just copy the file and just delete everythiing but the mask that makes the shape and use that for the cut line
(i think you may have to go to object menu, down to clipping mask then relase)
