Looks pretty good, see a few things but one question.
Why is the tag line white with a black outline over a white background? Contrast 101? Just curious.
Merry Christmas!
Thanks,
Kurt
I would sell the laminator and go work for a sign shop or a wrap shop or whatever you want to do. Either do it or don't. If you are thinking it will be a hobby then outsource everything. This isn't playing guitar either invest the money and do it right or don't do it at all.
Thanks,
Kurt
This is probably one of the easiest vehicle there is to wrap but I think you are making a mistake with the material. If it where a trailer you would be fine but it will not hold up. Pick up phone and order some 3MIJ180C and 8518 lam and Doooo it.
Really why can you not order this? Did you not...
I haven't been this busy in the middle of the summer. Not sure what is going on but I love it! We are slammed and booked out for a few weeks!
Thanks,
Kurt
Hello,
Anyone here ever print on packaging paper or brown paper of any sort off the roll? I have a Mimaki JV3. Been asked to print various sizes and it is all dark color stuff I figure it would probably work but wanted to check first.
Thanks,
Kurt
Hey all,
I have been contracted to do some work for a movie filming locally and have a request from them to do some mock artwork printed and then mounted to gatorboard. I would typically use 3651 or something of the like as that is what I really like to use and we always have. Funny thing is...
I appreciate your concern. I am not looking to copy this design but do something similar with a repeating element much like you would see on a coach handbag or luggage. I wasn't born yesterday though, I know the risks of copyrights.
Maybe I didn't explain it properly. I want to do some sort of...
I have a client that wants to do something similar to this background on a wrap. This is the only picture of anything like it he has.
My questions is does this sort of pattern have a name? I know it is the type of style that is typically used on fancy high dollar handbags and luggage as well...
I also have Onyx Postershop 6.5. I know when it was new it was like $3,500 or something for this particular version.
Would like to get $950.00 or so out of it.
PM me if interested.
Thanks,
Kurt
The cap appears to be straight. I also popped it off and cleaned around it but it was pretty clean. No buildup on bottom of head either. This printer is very clean, everytime it prints is gets cleaned which may be overkill but it also prevents issues.
Should I look at the damper next? Are they...
Now that you mention it I did a test print and here is what I found.... Looks sort of weird. The head is not scratched or damaged at all. (Pic attached) Looks like half the cyan head isn't getting ink or something.
Thanks,
Kurt
Hello all,
My JV3 is printing a bit strange and of course when you print anything photographic or with a lot of details and colors you don't see it as much or hardly. When you print solid colors it looks like crap...
Is this banding or does some sort of alignment need to be performed or parts...
+1 to all the others. We have both and the JV33 is far above our JV# in terms of speed, maint and operation. I feel like we get better color off of it as well on certain materials and profiles.
For every 5 times I have to mess with something on my JV3 the JV33 just keeps humming along!
Thanks...
Hello,
Anyone have any color profiles for Caldera or know where to find them for the Mimaki JV3 75SPII?
Looking for Oracal 3651, 3165 RA, 3551RA, 3951. Also wouldn't mind one for Avery 1005 EZ.
Thanks,
Kurt
I appreciate your offer. Right now I am downloading Caldera for my MAC and am going to try that to see how it works. If it doesn't for some reason I will get in touch with you.
Thanks,
Kurt
