Never seen that before. To fix it I would open the JPEG with PS, re-size it to the actual size, then add the transparency & flatten it again (save as JPEG). Then, load it into Flexi.

What plotter are you using for these currently? I could not imagine trying to cut/weed jobs with my graphtec, the cut from it is nowhere near as nice our other plotter. The Gerber Envision we have here does a good job with the small decals. Although, any small tedious weeding is no fun. Also...

We have a cutting mat on each of our tables, I'm sure your suppliers sell them. One small tool we use, a tack rag (like a body shop uses) does great for taking off the dust before mounting.

I've never used another layer of vinyl underneath any specialty materials here. Always just print it & cut it, then lam & cut it 1/8" extra around the graphics for the edge seal.

more info is needed: what printer? what material? what laminate? what surface are they applied to? so far, sounds like the wrong material...

I would call Stouse & consolidated listed above, then see what your markup is & go from there. or if you have no idea where to start; do a google search for label printing companies & request a RETAIL PRICE quote or two.

We did this at our old shop, worked very well. Haven't done it here, but have hardly any carry-out graphics.

Problem located: Chip in the Cyan cartridge was apparently (backfeeding???) bad. Switched in an old empty cartridge into its location the cartridge levels returned (reading empty cart on Cyan). New cartridge installed from local dealer, nice of them to bring one by within two hours of calling...

If you have InDesign, try that; it's what I like to use for combining images & creating proofs. Makes great PDFs also.

I think it can depend on what was originally used as the "design program" to create the PDF that you were provided to print. Since every program on every computer now has the ability to either export or print to PDF, many were not designed to be compatible with Corel, especially newer programs...

Apparently I missed the boat, finally got authorization to place a large order for it; called them and they are sold out of it... :( Next time I'll just order it & then explain why when the statement arrives. ;)

I know they have a new more opaque white out (Arctic White?) for the Edge that the sales rep showed me a couple weeks ago. Which resolution are you printing it at? 300x600 seems to have "heavier coverage" but can cause oddities at times.
