before your replace a printhead, try simply reinstalling your ribbon cable. the media jam/headstrike may have just unseated its proper connection.

ISA is awesome, this will be my 7th year in attendance. Even if SGIA is geared toward being more printing tech.-specific, you wouldn't be disappointed at ISA if you were only there for that aspect. i'd say pick whichever is more logistic for your schedule/travel to allow. they're both great.

sounds like your damper replacement either cracked the manifold or you've got air inside of the printhead that is vapor-locking the ink supply to it. Squeezing the damper is not a fix, and you will ruin the printhead the longer you keep running it this way. also noted that replacing dampers...

if you need a starting-point of tools/templates/etc., checkout theBadWrap as far as "incorporating a logo" into a wrap.... you import/place it into a layer in photoshop. see linda.com tutorials if you can't get to that point.

if they're suggesting lan cable, i may also suggest inspecting the lan card itself in the printer. the connections may be degraded and shorting-out randomly.
