  1. Last bit of material?

I have about 3-4 rolls of both calendared and cast vinyl material which if I had to guess has anywhere from 3'-8' of material left on them. Whenever I get low I just pop a new roll in. Now they are getting in the way and becoming just a clutter. What do you guys do with the wee bit of...
  2. First full wrap

Looks Good.. Only thing I would have done was do it in more sections so it would appear seamless instead of a seam right above the window
  3. Having fun with signs.

They all look great especially love the colors on the Victor Technologies sign.
  4. vehicle templates

That is an expensive movie collection.
  5. Which icon character for logo

I do not prefer any of them but If I had to choose one I would say the top one. I am not sure what the horns are for on the lower two?
  6. Theirs or Mine?

I am with Mosh on this one. When it gets so far it is not about the money. It is about the pure thought of trying to get over on someone. When you got to the grocery store you pay before you leave what makes a sign any different? I told someone I would come by his house and strip his door...
  7. Possible Name Change??

I disagree...At least around my location. Designs means decorator or fashion designer. A lot of people understand the term "Graphics" instead of "Designs". Definitely do not build your name around wraps unless that is pretty much ALL you do.
  8. YAAAY it's little league bball banner time!!

I charge sport banner customers double..For the hassle
  9. Camo a truck like Duck Dynasty

I talk with the designer and owner of the shop who did that truck on a regular basis. It will be interesting to see what you come up with. I am sure many people get request like that. Good Luck!
  10. What Would You Charge?

Really? What is the attitude for? You come on here and post asking for pricing when you are not man enough to say what you charge but want us to tell you our pricing? By the sounds of it you are a real fun guy to work with. Heck if you know what you are worth like you say in your original...
  11. Shop Truck Wrap

I think it is busy for my taste. Decal Designs if that is what you do needs to be MUCH bigger. Premier is huge which is fine but it does not show what you do.
  12. Frustrating

Markets are definitely different! I get people out of state always telling me that we should be able to get more out here in California..I think it is starting to be just the opposite. People are getting more for wraps back east and down south than we do here in CA. And yet our taxes and...
  13. Material for Race Cars

Duct tape. Anything that comes out a printer they can not afford or want it for free, but hey they will put your logo on it!
  14. Frustrating

Yuck I have never seen one but can not imagine it being durable. I did not know people liquid laminated vehicle wraps. I figured all or none.
  15. Frustrating

"not laminated" that is all you should need to sale to your clients and should have problem beating your competition if they are not laminated. You will not beat them on price, you will beat them with quality and craftsmanship.
  16. Reflective Wraps

It is pretty expensive but you get what you pay for. I have seen some awesome results if it is used right.
  17. Can I use 3m 94 Primer on Orajet 3165 RA???

No. Use a cast material and they will not pull back if installed right. 3M primer eats Oracals adhesive.
  18. Cutting a Partial Wrap

I wish Avery provided better lam. I find their material easy to work with but their laminate I can not stand.
  19. Custom cutting 10MM corrugated plastic

Gino, What teeth count blade do you use? I am not to concerned about getting edges cleaned up. Sandpaper is a good idea or a small file. I am more concerned about cutting straight. Thanks for the input S101ers!
  20. Custom cutting 10MM corrugated plastic

What local shops can I call to try to gain access to one? Engine Machine shops I would assume?
