Sorry Adrian, I wasn't very clear. What kind of tools do you use for your sanding? Especially for the small stuff it seems like it would be hard to get in those corners etc... In small spaces I have used paper around a putty knife etc, just wondering if you used any special tools. Also do...
Excuse my ignorance. I thought that you could use oil size and water size on glass to get a matte or a gloss finish if you will? I don't do any leaf (yet)

Under menu on the printer you will find 'cutting menu', there you will find an option for 'pre-feed' that you can turn on or off. Just make sure you pre-spool out your material when it is on a roll or it will jerk it really hard.
Obviously you are not comparing it to some of the excellent signage from that era. I drool over some of the beautiful design and workmanship that came out of 1901 era sign shops. Grunge and child fonts were NOT the norm for the time, trust me.
Install of this type of stuff would go to companies like Leading Edge Aviation... although I could see them contracting to bring in additional installers. They have all the equipment to climate control/wash/get into the right places/inspectors on staff... ...
