  1. Man, Follow-up cold calling isn't fun

If I have a quiet spell I actually take a day to drive around and "cold call" and found that face to face works much better than flyers or phone calls. Don't get as many knock backs and you get a chance to show some of your work, after all it's a cold call and they don't know what you or your...
  2. Has anyone tried this

That I don't know, but if it lasts 5 years on a exterior textured wall it would be fantastic, especially on bare brick walls.
  3. Oh boy! I get to do some research tonite on a new cutter.

I haven't had a problem with my Roland, but if I had the money at the time I would have bought the Summa, they're just really expensive here.

  6. Chinese Gold Leaf

I was going to say that the size may have been too dry or the substrate might have had something on it that wouldn't let it stick, do a test on some scrap to see if it does the same thing.

  10. Nail Spa Sign

I agree with Craig and I think the sign looks too dark now for a nail shop.
  11. Mustang matte wrap

Good job but the first thing I noticed was no top half of the flame where the rear quarter panel meets the bumper.
  12. Clear coating UV printed signs

I have a friend who owns a panel shop and when I have a job that I'm not sure of I just make some samples about 6" square and get him to lay a few coats of clear 2K the next time he's clearing coating a car (which is every day). I've been surprised at what fries under 2k and what doesn't.
  13. How is this acceptable?

I have a deal with the panel shop i do work for, they tell the insurance company "payment on receipt" I don't quote at all, I do the job and give the panel shop the bill and he pays me, then he forwards the bill to the insurance for his payment.

Yeah Pat I know, but it made me feel good. I have noticed quite a few people selling stuff under 2 or 3 different store names and found they have the same address, bank accounts etc. I always check out as much as possible about who I buy off.
