I was bidding on a camera from a camera store on ebay and worked out the guy was Shill bidding so I reported him, couple of hours later and his store was gone.

I just did my first job with unlaminated perf, was 2 panels 10'x4' each and had to be lined up exactly(outside on shop window). I did them wet to aid lining up, plus the fact it was a bit windy, but went on fine, just squeegee the crap out of it to get all the app fluid out, let dry for a while...

Is the design exactly 48", if it was slightly under, you could cut two 10ft lengths with the top overlapping the bottom one by 1/4" or so. Also depends on the design, if the element is not just one piece you could cut individually and apply. It all depends on the design.

Originally bought this stuff to do a customers bike...until he crashed it. The window etch is about 30-40% lighter and I was thinking of mixing with the Tattoo film on my bike, bike is painted with Harlequin so I'll have to do test peices and put it out it the sun to see how it looks...

Was a bit bored yesterday(Sunday) so decided to play with the wife's car, she picked one of the designs I had done (naturally wasn't the one I liked) and I slapped it on. The Avery Tattoo vinyl feels different to normal vinyl (probably not) like a more thicker plasticy feel and is very sticky...

Thanks guys but I'm just installing the print supplied by another sign company (they are 150 miles away) on a shop window (under a large verandah, so not out in the weather) Think they are only wanting it to last about 12 months.

First off I know this may sound a bit dumb ...I outsource any printing I need as I don't use printed vinyl all that much so haven't done this before......... Just got a company rang and asked me to install a print 10' x 4' on clear that's not laminated onto outside of a shop window, installing...

If I have anything facing the sun and want it to last long term I use cut vinyl.

Applying cut vinyl to acrylic light box panels I always do dry and the flood coat backing of white as well (I use Trans Vinyl for light boxes) I alway apply to the inside, outside looks cheap and crap. If doing vinyl wet on the panel, squeegee hard to get all the app fluid out before you remove...

I have a "brushy" signwriter I cut heaps of vinyl for and one day I noticed he was using windex to apply the vinyl, I told him the reasons I had heard "not" to use windex and all he said was Bulls#!t, I've been doing it this way for 15 years and never had a failure. That was on painted surfaces...

Magnetic material comes off a roll.....just roll them up and put in a tube, tell customer to throw them on the fridge door when they get them home to straighten them. I really don't see what the big deal is.

Whilst I would love to be a passenger and he makes good videos it's a pity Ken Block is hopeless when it comes to the World Rally competition. He should stick to making Utube videos.
