several things you can adjust, the blade force could be way to high, to much of your blade exposed. going to fast
a good cut should just barely cut the vinyl and a hint of the cut on your release liner.
i would start from set one of setting your blade and backing the pressure way back till it...
looks like his first wrap job.
basically guessed at a number and now trying to fit the job into that budget
if its just 2 sides of a 24" box truck 4k is about right unless you outsource everything.
i would still use my 3m controltac 180-10 and 3m lam.
your cause is not exactly clear.
have you checked your head test print lately.
or your head is to high
or your trying to put down to much ink with out enough drying time
and this is the whole point. with a business name and contact info its commercial. with just the plain wrap, its just an eye sore to someone. but if it was just a wrap it might be an eye sore to someone and they have nothing they can do about it.
but adding the business info makes it a code...
i hate clutter. this includes scrape vinyl. i keep some special ones around for a little while. but most of it just gets put in the bin. by the time i get to the point of scrap. that roll has been paid for a few times. so there is no real lost money. just time and clutter.
i use my 360 all the time and have noticed this happen now and then, i would start with turning your heat down a bit. never tug on your print while its warm. and never let it sit for long periods of time on the take up wheel.
are you noticing this during printing or after its laminated. if your...
in my garage i have a box that was given to me many years ago.
in this box is an old manual engraving machine.
this machine was used in a Montgomery wards store.
so i wasn't sure where i should post this.
but does anyone deal with this kind of thing that could tell me more about it.
its not...
since you will be doing 2 prints, install the first but dont fully tuck it everywhere yet, install the second the same exact way so that the top and bottom start and stop about the same place. once the rough install is done, heat and tuck as needed. then make sure you do a post heat on it
yes do a full restart and run as admin, try a test cut again, if it doesnt cut i would look at your cables from the computer to the machine. or that the machine is setup properly
Very simply, the designer should create a Spot Color in their design application and name that Spot Color “CutContour”, taking care to spell it properly and use upper case and lower case letters exactly as indicated. VersaWorks will then “see” that Spot Color and apply it as a cut line when...
looks like all your colors are having problems. if you been cleaning them all. i would suggest just getting a new head.
make sure your capping station is in good clean working order.
if you can remove your head, you could soak it in cleaning solution over night and see if that might help fix it...
i wouldnt mask the vinyl. its stiffer and wont work into the grooves. if you have cut letters you should mask it, stick it and then remove the mask to stuff it into the grooves
i know i was thinking about updating from cm2 to cm 3. but my cutter needs a firmware upgrade first.
i am always hesitant to change something that is working
i agree its more to do with your designers than the software. we brought in a recent grad. they had a crash course in real world application. they was over whelmed at first trying to learn how things are supposed to work.
what a grad learns is solely based on whats in a text book and their...
if you created the artwork you can.
you do an install you should be able to use a photo of the final project.
but its always good to get a release signed by the customer to use their name or artwork.
asking nicely usually works great if you have a good working relationship.
