if you aren't putting the clear decals on a light background you really want to have a printer that prints white. also on clear we always print high quality
+1 to this but you should still look for a good name brand not something made in the guy down the block's garage. service is super important. once you invest in the machine it needs to run so you can pay for it and profit. down time is a killer
we 3651 or solvex and 210 lam. I do have a question for the people who print on the lam and then lam. is that the best way to do it only because the lam is usually more expensive than the clear vinyl? I guess if you don't do a lot of it no problem but if you have a large run job I would think...
what about oracal 3268 repositionable material. the lam isn't critical no need to spend extra money on floor lam. you can use gloss or if you are worried about abuse any textured lam will work. nazdar also has a similar material they sell but it's a poly material so you don't get the stretching...
that is correct. when you reload the material to cut just change the print only option to cut only. do not change anything else in versa works. they only thing that could happen is if you set up the media too narrow you will get a message that says "media is smaller than image do you want to...

print mirrored image on clear cling or clear vinyl then print the image on white vinyl then laminate the white vinyl print to the clear print and presto 2 sided window cling or decal
Gemini can make custom logos as well as letters. you might still want to talk to them. even if you don't want them to do the job at least you can see what material they would use for outdoor use and just get the material and make the sign your self. I would think you want a plastic or metal...
i was going to ask how much you use the saw and if the dust would create a problem, not just with the computers but also with laminating and applying graphics
i have a customer that i do all their truck lettering and they have been getting box trucks with the curtain sides lately (i believe the curtain is vinyl)
they want me to put vinyl lettering on it. done this before but doesn't hold up. i recommended painting i think that would hold up better.
is...
we usually just recreate when we have to or use the trace expand in illust. but just wondering if there was something better and faster
thanks for the input
what software if any do you use for vectorizing your artwork. i use the trace/expand option in illustrator but is there something better?
i saw a program at one of the trade shows a few years ago. imagaro z looked pretty good when they demonstrated it. along with vectorizing artwork it also had...
