if you printed it on different material and it was fine i would say it's the roll of arlon that is not so good. not saying arlon is bad, i have never used it but if you have none of these problems on a different material either the material is bad or your profile?

3164 and 3651 we use the most of time but when we need cast we just go with what ever we get the best price on but usually 3m or oracal some avery

oracal 3651 it's a little more then the 3165 but it's gray adhesive and a little stronger

what about pad printing.

i have scored .015 styrene or pvc also .020 card stock for a prototype box on my vp540 make sure you raise the print head because when you do the sheet set up you can get a head strike. i wouldn't go any thicker then that and you will have to finish the cut through with a razor or xacto knife

so far we have been able to use the roland/versaworks supplied profiles with no issues

we print on alum .003, .005, .020 and up on our roland lej uv printer no issues but it doesn't work on our solvent printers. I wouldn't say it looks metallic. if you print it on clear and mount to alum, like mentioned that would have a metallic look. the uv inks are more opaque then the solvent...

so if he changes the font and still takes 50% of your business is it ok then? also like someone else said there are some of your other decals that aren't so original (seen them out in the tri-state area but they did have different fonts)

we deal with flexcon and 3M direct but only because of the quantities we buy. as far as I know they won't sell to anyone unless they are buying enough product. the products we do buy from them we used to have to buy from distributors early on because we weren't buying enough so that would lead...
