might need a tech for this one but did you check all the lines make sure everything is connected properly, maybe you have to pull some ink with a syringe or maybe just do a powerful cleaning to get the ink through the lines. just putting stuff out there to try/check. do you have a tech guy that...
i can't say this never happens but i am pretty good at keeping stuff organized. nothing really leaves my cubicle unless it's too big. everynight before i leave i staighten up my desk and line up all my paper work so it's ready to go the next day. also i keep a list on a steno pad and i check off...
tyrrell tech has a slitter in their Maryland branch not sure what they would charge to slit your material.
i usually order it from them and have them slit it down.
if you have any close paper companies, they can do it.
we have one across the street works out good
sometimes it's not the shops fault it takes so long for UL labels. every UL label has to be approved by UL. you make a proof with all specs, including material and process. then send it to UL and you wait for an approval from them. we have had that process take 2-3 weeks
if you are not UL approved (which isn't cheap and needs to be paid every year followed up by a surprise inspection) you can not print UL labels (not legally anyway)
we are approved and you charge more for the labels because of what it cost to be able to print UL labels

we have lasco corner rounders - 2 foot operated and 1 with a motor. the motorized one isn't so good with .080, really presses the motor but the 2 foot operated ones are great. use it on .080 alum
and 3mm alum composite with no problems.
