I finally had this happen to me last week - exactly like you described. Not even that long of a job, but was in 2 segments.
Luckily it was just cutting straight stripes so I was able to hand cut what it decided not to cut, but still pissed me off!!
How many times has it happened so far for...
I'm assuming you're using Versaworks then? It will tell you the ink consumption per job. I'm not at work and can't remember exactly how to access it, but I believe it's under "print log" or something along those lines - in there you can see the breakdown of ink consumption per channel. This...
A customer is looking for a permanent decal for a school's basketball court. Decal would be a 52" circle in center court.
The flooring is apparently rubber - specs are attached.
Has anyone done anything like this and had it hold up? We would only be supplying the decal, and they apparently...

No I haven't, sorry. It definitely hasn't been as bad as yours and has been barely noticeable to anyone other than me. Still kinda bugs me though.
Hope you get your issues sorted out!
Agreed! Will post pictures of our naked new showroom, we just redid floors and painted walls over the holidays. Need to get it redone asap as I looks so empty now (because it is completely empty lol).
Yeah we get that on our UCJV as well, it's very frustrating. Most of the time it only happens before the media is taped to the take up reel. You're "not supposed to", but I've manually turned some of the inside pinch rollers off a few times and sometimes that will help.
Usually only happens...
