don't know about flexi or the manual graphtec alignment but do a lot of print roland versaworks cut on graphtec (flat bed and roll) with arms from coral.
the point of the ticks > of the roland marks denotes the corner points of the file but this does include any pdf or eps boarder so the cut...
the surface mount fuses were available from digiprint so the new people should have them very little money if i remember. i think there is also a fitting kit for larger replaceable fuses.
if you are running colourrip then a cmyk only option available its in one of the print mode options. expect...
you may have to ask roland for a original download to make this work
http://download.rolanddg.jp/en/color.html#sj5/600
but the sj is not listed as a print and cut ??
that stuff can be a pain. think the 352 is the thin chrome.. new blade in a cleaned and very lightly oiled holder, very small amount of blade showing
pressure 25 -35 gforce 1 speed about 30. your pic is showing the classic poor blade holder, blade and trying to go to fast. the points of the...
out of all the disks i have seen this is the most usable set i have found you know what they say measure twice cut once. when something is critical we make our own templates, window tint boys may have something closer.
if you are convinced its chromatic banding and not mechanical then its down to several things actual print surface. bed temps. humidity. print speed. print head starting to fail slightly when under a high use.
in a attempt to get the pigments to lay in the correct or similar manor in each...
been trying to justify a roll scanner but still use a camera if really critical normally draw a known size box around the drawing to help trap any errors.
one tip i would draw one vector through the centre of the lines then add a pen width to suit. then convert pen width to outline so end up...
as long time graphtec user have 4 on site i have found around 14 -15 brand new then settles about 17 for months to come for polymeric 3 less for cast. i gave up with oe blades years ago after a couple of iffy ones i can accept a 1 in 10 iffy one when they are really cheap but not at oe prices.
on the disk are 1/20th scale and full size depending what your software will except. they were never sold as 100% accurate but for visual purposes only the real problems are the curved surfaces of the vehicle and 2d drawings. we use them but never trust the panel sizes for production measure the...
morning
need to find out why its sticking once a stepper motor stalls it does not know where it is.and will carry on blind untill it hits something again unlike modern servo and encoder systems with over power cut outs etc.
does it ever get to the point of rotating the ribbon to find the colours
as its position sensitive sounds like the main ribbon cable faulty it may have a separate one for the cutter if you are lucky may need just re-seating with this sort of fault and you go fiddling with it can have one of three outcomes .. you fix it :) .. stays the same:( .. don't work at all:mad:
only a idea presume its responding to head temp not bed temp, there must be lots of old heads sitting in draws perhaps put a call out for a used head and cable
haven't got a clue about latex but your epson should be able to do 3 to 5 mm text comfortably but so much depends on the machine set up, material etc.
defections of the nossels poor alignment of heads will stand out like a sore thumb even head height plays a part.
2mm black text we regularly do...
can you see whats wrong might be repairable
does one head work or both packed up, because it was the flagship cutter in its day graphtec may still have parts.
just looked at my pc60 and it has similar ( learn something every day) took a while but could then see the corner damaged in your pic, doubt if roland will have a part, could the switch part be a standard rs bit.... just looked a few to choose from
best of luck
