I'm not positive, but I think its just plain ol' screen printed vinyl. At least it is on my "Termi's" which are carbon fiber besides. One decal got a nick so I removed both of them. I'd think if it was hot enough to ruin vinyl it would eat the carbon fiber in short order.
Mine are similar to...
One of these then: http://www.uscutter.com/USCutter-Rolling-Vinyl-Storage-Rack-168-roll-Capacity
Way more rolls can be stored and it can be placed tight against a wall if need be. I think it would be a fun and cheap project to build.
As far as my wood rack idea it would not take much to make...
Too much wasted space. Never understood the idea of vinyl racks having to be mobile either. My stuff stays put since it's out of the way to begin with.
Here is my solution that unless you get materials for nothing is the cheapest rack system around.
Years ago I needed a way to store all my...
Magenta has tons of deflection from head strikes. You also have blocked nozzles.
Gotta ask what ink you're using. If it's third party that could be causing the blockages. If not the head is probably toast.
Either way you should probably get a good tech on site.
In those situations I have a professional tinter work with me. They will do a site survey, address the clients concerns and come up with a solution. Once they've done their work I can put my perf or graphics over it.(first surface)
Pro tint guys will also be able to run the calcs necessary...
You have to set up the contour cut in whatever program you're using. I use Illy and 100% magenta. In VW if I send it a contour cut path an "A" shows up in the file properties. Yours will obviously be different.
At that point I have to tell the RIP to print with marks for cutting if its going...
If it's a work van and he plans on running it into the dirt I'd paint it. Lots of shops in my area competing to make a buck. One of our clients has a taxi company. Respray on his shuttle vans are 800 bucks. And they look nice when they're done. For that kind of coin it ain't worth my time...
Get a Summa. Take a couple minutes and compare tracking and repeatability specs. That should help you make a decision.
"That's all I got to say about that".

My SP540V gets filthy. It can be cleaned spotless then run a few big jobs and there's a mess like you pictured. It's done this since new. I have no issues with the quality of the prints.
Thanks for posting the fix.:thumb: It should be usable for many other models of Roland printers.(board looks exactly the same as my SP540V)
So many ask for help then disappear.
What are you trying to accomplish? IMO most of the good original art has been scarfed up by print shops.
You may be further ahead to hire a starving artist or two and produce unique, copyrighted work in the same vein.
Something else to consider:

I got my "Rolex" Daytona from a seedy back alley in Shanghai for 25 bucks. At first, second and third glance it is a dead match right down to the hologram tag on the back. Bezel engraving is immaculate. A real Daytona costs 25 grand.:omg:
IG(insulated glass) panels are susceptible to this. There are calcs that take into account the coverage and color to figure heat gain when using tint.
At any rate I always ask my friend the window tint expert before I do anything full coverage or dark.
In my experience it's no different than buying a house. Make your list of must haves, pick an area you think meets those criteria, and drive it yourself. Realtors have a tendency to make things sound better than they are.
Once you find a place talk to the neighbors about crime, etc... I even...
If I go on site its a charge that gets applied to the project if they order. I no longer deal with companies that don't have any "skin" in the game and are shopping everyone in town.
Wrong approach? Could be and I'll probably get lectured by someone here, but it cuts down on tire kickers...
