Working on this one for my Landlord for Christmas. We will be lettering a few farm trucks and equipment for him. I am throwing in the weathered look sign for him as a gift. It was a fun project to work on.

- First off I have had a working relationship with Eaglesoft for years I even designed a logo or two for them as well as lettered their storefront, so I don't really know where you got that information. I really would hope not to air anything out like that on a public forum regardless...
Yes any type of base design vector work I always do in signlab. I run version 9 so the anti aliasing is a little better than it was in version 7, though it still isn't perfect.
My apologies ... the customer approached me with his card design and told me to do my thing with it. Didn't mean to step on any toes. If you feel the need to discuss this please don't hesitate to call me.
The fill was from Signlab's Metal Miracles package. I took the texture and adjusted the hue to get it as close as i could to the leaf on the other trucks.
I just finished up this job for my local Volunteer FD. I designed this completely in Signlab and printed with my summa dc4. The summa did a pretty good job at simulating gold leaf on a budget ;) Sorry just realized the pics are a little blurry.
