We are currently seeking a new vendor (preferably in california) for printing oversize banners. We can print up to 5' in house but sometimes we need to print much larger. We had been using Tribute for the last few years but we got tired of receiving orders that were extremely...
My HP L26500 (new in 2013) prints a wavy pattern on the front 12-24" or so of each print. The pattern has way less ink in the wavy area, it looks washed out.
I only notice this on 13oz banner material. I know it's not the temp because sometimes it prints fine. I am not sure why it would do this...

I need a tip or a trick.
I'm printing some large banners and the sides of the material typically have lint. I try and burn them off with a lighter from the roll but still some gets through. I really don't care if it stays on the back side and does cause problems with head strikes. But I am...
I printed vinyl scrimm and I've had it in the shop for a few days. It's on my Mutoh VJ1324 and it printed very well. If I use my finger nail to scrape, it can still smear. Zeelon 13 oz gloss solvent banner is the material used. Is this common? I printed this on a vinyl and I can't seem to get it...
I have a customer that is looking to hang a few large banners (4' x 14'') on the side of their venue.
They want the ability to easily change them out from month to month. Does anyone have a nice
system or proven method for doing this ? Any info is greatly appreciated.
:thankyou:
I am selling my Mutoh Valuejet 48" Large-Format Eco-Solvent Printer. $10,000.00. It is approximately 4 months old and has approximately 6 hours of use on it. There are no issues with the machine. It is in perfect working condition, and although it does not get used often, the...
We are using A Mimaki 54" jv33-130. When we print on 54 in banner material every so often there seems to be a black streak running on an angle on the print. We have tried several different brands of banner material and seem to have the same problem. All the other media we print on comes out...
We primarily use our printer for canvas but every once in a while use for vinyl banner.
PROBLEM: The 12 oz vinyl is bubbling and the printhead sensor is touching as it passes.
Any suggestions?

We do large indoor mesh banners every couple of years (22'x26' and 15'x25') but I have had a hell of a time with seaming the panels.
We have tried:
Hem tape
Mega tape
Heat Weld
Does anyone have a good practice for seaming the panels that actually works? They take these banners up and down...
A buddy of mine runs a sports bar and has asked me to print up a large bracket for their Fantasy Football Playoffs (8'x4') that he can put on the wall. He's offered to pay me with a free bar tab and a table on Superbowl Sunday. I don't have a lot of experience with wall-graphics and am not...
We've tried a few different companies in such for the right banner tape and the end result is always the same = FAIL! I've seen some youtube videos and people say that banner tape is just as strong or stronger than hemming the banners.....not sure whats going on with the stuff that we got! Any...
I'm planning on installing three fairly large banners (2 - 3' x 12's/ 1 - 3' x 8') on a church's interior wall. I've seen a few related posts, but wanted some advice. If I use grommets/anchors, how taut should I stretch the banner before installing to keep it from sagging? Also, if I use wall...
