  1. CET, Gerber, Roland Flatbed Question

I plan on doing many runs of 4' X 8' 4mm coroplast sheets, some aluminum signs and some 1/2" wood signs. I prefer a 4" height printable area, but the main thing is the quality, I'd like a 1440 X 1440 if at all possible, if not than 1440 X 720 is ok.
  2. CET, Gerber, Roland Flatbed Question

So on the topic of flatbed printers, this has been brought up many times. I'd like to know your guys experience with each if you own any of these. I am leaning towards getting a CET color flatbed, but nearly impossible to find a used or demo model. I know nothing about CET. I was considering a...
  3. Best way to cut lots of small coroplast pieces.

Using a guillotine shear would work well. Also you could have your substrate supplier make the cuts and delivery to you finished.
  4. Odd Occurance in Versaworks

Oh now I know what your talking about. I actually lose some in mine too. It may have happened in the last update. But when I enable tiling, it creates a line around .04"
  5. Help please

I wouldn't trust it because everything online about it is in another language so chances are there is no good tech support. Not only that, I only buy certain name brands, but that's just me.
  6. So a guy brought me some Oracal 651 to wrap his car....

Wow..... 651 for a wrap? Horrible idea. The reason the company is selling that is because it's dirt cheap. I wouldn't touch anything under the 970RA for a wrap. As for the weekend work? Yeah I am open on Saturdays for 3 hours.
  7. Odd Occurance in Versaworks

Sounds like the pinch rollers moved closer and the graphic is past maximum causing it to split into segments. Or if you mean it's in the separation of the number of copies, sounds like a setting issue.
  8. Printing Issues With Aurora Print Craft Fills

Try converting the outline to an object and power clip (place inside container) into it.
  9. Looking for info on perimeter lighting a led sign box

I actually have some of these and you generally only put them in the top and bottom of your cabinet. Of course the top shines down and the bottom shines up. This are limited to a maximum of 5' tall cabinets. Generally it's recommended for 4' tall. So a 4' X 8' cabinet would work great. It...

  12. Hartco Sandblast Stencil

It does pretty well for me. If you blast an angle, it peels up, you have to blast straight on.

I don't see why Gemini can't do this?
  14. Car top magnetic sign - like pizza delivery?

  15. Roland Vp540I Streaking

This could be an alignment issue. Another could be some nozzle heads are damaged. I've had this before, I had the printhead replaced and realigned and it fixed it.
  16. Best 54" Laminator to get ? NEED HELP

By far without a deal, get yourself a SEAL. Stick with quality and not the cheapest price.
  17. lost a job to a competitor story :)

I am about to go through that myself. I am quoting a large project that includes about 28 aluminum signs, 3 window graphics, 3' X 50' LED channel letters, a couple of non-illumminated push thru cabinets with solar flood lights, etc. However they are getting another quote and my signs are custom...
